In 2000 the Department of “Accounting and Analysis” marked 80 years since its foundation within the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.

The Department has inherited, and has been further developing, the achievements of numerous famous scientists in the field of accounting since its creation in 1920. In different historical periods, members of the Department were scientists, who have worked and given lectures both in the country and abroad.

Since 1995, with a decision of the Academic Council, “Accounting and Analysis” Department has been part of the “Finance and Accounting” Faculty of UNWE.
