CLIMATE AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
THE MASTER PROGRAMME CLIMATE AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS prepares a new type of specialists with interdisciplinary knowledge about climate change and international business and opportunities for careers in the economic and financial sectors, as well as in the state administration and non-governmental sector.
The Master degree includes courses from various fields of knowledge, including climate and climate change, legal regulation of the fight for climate change in the EU, international climate finance, decarbonization and carbon trading, corporate sustainability (including business models and disclosure), international business operations and climate change, and climate change and project finance. A logical transition to disciplines with an applied orientation is the group of disciplines in "Specialized Training." They include digitization and climate change; ISO standards, IAS and corporate sustainability standards, and carbon accounting; and social dimensions of climate change.
Graduates of the "Climate and International Business" master degree possess knowledge, skills, and competencies that correspond to the National Qualification Framework of the Republic of Bulgaria (Level 7) and the European Reference Framework of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning. In parallel, they acquire new knowledge corresponding to the new strategic directions of development of the national and economic, social, and political systems.
