History

Department of Public Law is established in 1995. It covers the scientific disciplines studied by students in specialty of Law at the Legal Faculty of UNWE. The department also includes those general theoretical disciplines that provide the foundation of the legal knowledge: General Theory of Law, General Doctrine for the State, International Protection of the Human Rights and many others. There are also included all the classical disciplines of Public Law such as Administrative Law, Financial Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and many others. Public Law is that part of the Law that protects the public (state) interest and also defines the basic principles and standards of the state planning and state government.

The academic body of the Department consists of 4 full-tenure lecturers and 5 non full-tenure lecturers.
