National Competition in Applied Informatics

The Department of Information Technologies and Communications (ITC) at the UNWE is organizing a National Competition in Applied Informatics for students in the 12th grade (academic year 2025–2026), held as an individual electronic test. The competition will take place on March 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the UNWE Test Center (Sofia), with a duration of 60 minutes and evaluation by a point system.
The top students graduating in 2025/2026, by decision of the Academic Council, are recognized with an excellent grade (6.00) for the competitive exam at the UNWE for the specialty "Business Informatics and Communications", and it is also possible to rank in the program with teaching in English upon fulfillment of the conditions under the current regulations; candidates for other specialties participate in the ranking according to the general order.

Candidates can also qualify for the specialty "Business Informatics and Communications (Taught in English)" if they meet one of the following conditions:

  1. Hold an English language certificate corresponding to at least B2 level under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR);
  2. Have graduated from a specialized language high school or a specialized language class at a general education school with intensive English-language instruction;
  3. Have successfully passed the Foreign Language Entrance Examination (English) with a grade of at least Good (4.00).

Applicants wishing to enroll in other degree programs may participate in the admission ranking in accordance with the procedures established by the Regulations for Admission of Students to Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs after Secondary Education for the Law Specialty at the UNWE.
