MASTER PROGRAM
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (2 SEMESTERS)
The master program was developed on the basis of consultations with managers of leading Bulgarian companies that participate in international business, and with representatives of the state administration that regulate this activity. It has a strong European orientation and is in line with the latest trends in the development of the global economy.
The purpose of the program is to prepare students for work in organizations with international economic activities. Graduates fulfil the specific requirements for holding positions at senior and middle management level in state and local administration and in companies with international operations. They have the necessary qualifications to work in international economic, commercial and financial institutions, as well as in multinational companies.
MASTER PROGRAMME
CLIMATE AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
The aim of the program is to prepare a new type of specialists with interdisciplinary knowledge about climate change and international business and opportunities for career in the economic and financial sectors, as well as in the state administration and non-governmental sector.
The master degree includes courses from various fields of knowledge, incl. climate and climate change, legal regulation of the fight for climate change in the EU, international climate finance, decarbonization and carbon trading, corporate sustainability, incl. business models and disclosure; international business operations and climate change, climate change and project finance. A logical transition to disciplines with an applied orientation is the group of disciplines in "Specialized training". They include digitization and climate change; ISO standards, IAS and corporate sustainability standards, carbon accounting; social dimensions of climate change.
Graduates of the "Climate and International Business" master degree possess knowledge, skills and competencies that correspond to the National Qualification Framework of the Republic of Bulgaria (Level 7) and the European Reference Framework of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning. In parallel, they acquire new knowledge corresponding to the new strategic directions of development of the national and economic, social and political systems.
