Education

In the specialty Tourism, specialists are prepared for operational and managerial work in banks, exchanges, tour operators and travel agencies, hotel complexes, restaurants and institutions and institutions involved in the regulation of tourism.

      Students acquire university knowledge providing fundamental economic training and professional knowledge in marketing, management, business law, accounting, monetary and credit relations, international economic relations, competition and competitiveness of the tourism product, tourism resources, technology of tourist services, reengineering and risk management in tourism, quality management in the tourism company, tour operator, traveler agency, hotel, restaurant and animation.

      The students' education is oriented towards acquiring knowledge for the effective use in the tourist activity of the geographical, climatic and balneological conditions, as well as the richness and originality of national and foreign monuments of history and culture, religion, folklore, traditions and original architecture. Particular attention is paid to foreign language training and business communication skills.

      Depending on the preferences of students, specialized training is provided in the following areas: international tourism, management of tour operator, agency and transport activities, management of hotel and restaurant activities, management of cultural tourism, management of agrarian (rural) tourism, etc.

      Graduates of the specialty can lead and participate in the marketing, production, innovation, investment, accounting, financial and intermediary activities of tourism companies, as well as carry out foreign exchange and stock exchange operations.
