The department of Economic Sociology has two education specialisations:

3.1: Sociology, anthropology and culture sciences

3.8: Economics-Economic sociology

Both specialisations provide the three educational levels: bachelor, major and doctor.

Bachelor degree

The training in the Department of Economic Sociology is carried out in two professional fields:

In all educational qualifications - Bachelor, Master and Doctor.

 

I. Bachelor level

Professional field "Sociology, Anthropology and Culture Studies"

UNWE has over 40 years of tradition in the training of graduates with sociological education. Training is in line with the practice of leading foreign universities in sociology, but it also has a specific advantage - students receive solid economic and humanitarian training.

Specialty "Sociology"

Area of higher education: 3. "Social, economic and legal sciences"

Educational-qualification degree: Bachelor

Professional degree: Bachelor of Sociology

Form of training: Regular

Duration of the training: 4 years / 8 semesters /

Total course horrarium: 2670 hours

Credits: 240

Form of graduation: State Exam

Professional field "Economics"

Specialty "Economic Sociology and Psychology"

Area of higher education: 3. "Social, economic and legal sciences"

Educational-qualification degree: Bachelor

Professional qualification: Bachelor of Economics

Form of training: regular

Duration of the training: 4 years / 8 semesters /

Total workload: 2730 hours

Credits: 240

Form of graduation: State Exam

The curricula for the two specialties are in compliance with government requirements.

Based on the degrees awarded, Bachelor's degree certificates are also issued in English.

II. Master's Degree Program

Specialty "Sociology"

Specialization: SOCIAL RESEARCH, ANALYZES AND PROJECTS

Vocational Qualification: "Master of Sociology"

Form of training: Regular

Duration of training: One year / two semesters /

Total workload: 585 hours

Credits: 60

Form of graduation: Master’s thesis

 

2.2 Professional Field 3.8. Economy

Specialty "Economic Sociology"

Specialization BUSINESS PSYCHOLOGY AND SOCIOLOGY

Vocational Qualification: "Master of Sociology"

Form of training: Regular

Duration of training: One year / two semesters /

Total workload: 585 hours

Credits: 60

Form of graduation: Master’s thesis

The curricula for all master programs conform with government requirements.

Based on the degrees awarded, Master's degree certificates are also issued in English.

 

III. Doctoral level programs

The training of doctoral students under government subsidized programmes (full-time and part-time training) and self-training are carried out.
