The Department of Business Informatics at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Svishtov celebrated its 60th anniversary. We had the pleasure of being part of the celebration of this remarkable event together with colleagues from the Department of Informatics at the UNWE, as well as from the Department of Informatics at the University of Economics – Varna.

The celebration brought together academics, researchers and friends of the department. The numerous greetings, including that of the rector of the Academy of Economics, the shared memories and friendly meetings created a pleasant and exciting atmosphere, filled with respect for what has been achieved over the years and an eye on the future.

Science was also an important part of the celebration! During the scientific conference, we presented our research papers and findings, discussed interesting topics and exchanged ideas with colleagues from different universities. It was a great combination of scientific discussions, new perspectives and informal conversations, which make such meetings so valuable.

Congratulations to our colleagues at the Department of Business Informatics on their 60th anniversary! We wish you continued success in your research, curious and motivated students, bold ideas and a deep sense of fulfilment in all that you achieve. May the traditions built over these six decades continue to serve as a foundation for future achievements, inspiration and lasting friendships!

We thank Prof. Dr. Krasimir Shishmanov and all colleagues from Svishtov for the invitation, the warm welcome and the wonderful two days! We are glad to have shared this celebration with you!
