Doctoral program "Economics and Management (Trade)"

The doctoral program in "Economics and Management (Trade)" is aligned with the latest trends in the development of science and the needs of practice in the field of trade. The research conducted by doctoral students is focused on scientific inquiry and the substantiation of new theoretical and/or empirical results with significant contributions. During the training of doctoral students in "Economics and Management (Trade)", the science itself is enriched, as opportunities are created for its development in accordance with the requirements of the complex and continuously evolving trade practice.

The main goals of the training in the doctoral program are:

• To prepare highly qualified specialists with proven abilities to investigate specific problem areas of trade theory and practice.

• To explore opportunities for comprehensive research on the development of trade in our country and to synchronize the training, research, and practices with those of the European Union countries.

• To encourage non-traditional (innovative and creative) thinking while maintaining the traditions of in-depth economic-theoretical and philosophical-methodological substantiation of theses and the use of an interdisciplinary approach, and the multiplicity (alternativity) of methods.

• To support and encourage doctoral students to participate in scientific research projects, as well as in national, university, and international scientific events.

Graduates of the doctoral program "Economics and Management (Trade)" can engage in scientific, teaching, research, and practical-applied work in the socio-economic sphere, in higher education institutions and other research organizations, as well as become senior managers, consultants, and experts in trade and administrative structures at both national and international levels.
